1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how DepthChartIQ, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “DepthChartIQ”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at depthchartiq.ai or any related services (the “Service”). It applies to all users of the Service regardless of location.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us — your email address, role (current athlete, HS prospect or family, or coach/advisor/AD), any free-text note you choose to share when signing up, and any profile information you provide once the product launches.
• Public sports data — athletic performance data and roster information derived from publicly available sources (e.g., team rosters, season statistics) is used to train and operate our predictive models. We do not represent any of this public data as private to you.
• Usage data — basic technical information your browser sends automatically (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) used for security, fraud prevention, and product analytics.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating and refining predictive outputs;
• Communicate with you about the Service, including early access invitations and important notices;
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your personal information to train models that are sold or licensed to third parties.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers — vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., email delivery, hosting, analytics) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
• Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of DepthChartIQ, our users, or the public;
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Children and minors (COPPA)

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not permit account creation by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.

For users between 13 and 17, account activation requires a parent or legal guardian to confirm consent to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service through a confirmation sent to their email. We record each consent, including the version of the policies consented to and the date. A parent or legal guardian who has provided consent may access, correct, export, or request deletion of their minor’s user-entered information at any time by contacting [email protected]. We limit the collection and use of a minor’s information to what is needed to provide the Service and do not use it for advertising.

6. Educational records (FERPA)

DepthChartIQ is not an educational institution and does not receive information from school records protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We rely on publicly available athletic performance and roster data and on information you provide to us directly.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law (including the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, and similar state and national laws). These may include:

• The right to access the personal information we hold about you;
• The right to correct inaccurate information;
• The right to delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions;
• The right to portability — receive your information in a portable format;
• The right to opt out of certain processing, including any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell);
• The right to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How deletion applies to different information. You may request deletion of the information you have provided to us — your account and profile data — and we will remove it upon verified written request, subject to legal exceptions. Athletic performance and roster information we derive from publicly available sources is not removed on request, because it is drawn from public records rather than provided by you. 8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and post a prominent notice on the Service before the changes take effect.
