What is DepthChartIQ?
DepthChartIQ is athletic intelligence for college athletes. It projects your minutes at programs across Division I, ranks your best fits by Success Probability Score℠, and keeps program research and your recruitment tracker in one place, so you can decide where to play with real numbers behind you.
Where do the projections come from?
They run on our proprietary engine, statistically validated and thoroughly tested on thousands of real college transfers and what happened to each player next. For each program you see projected minutes per game, a range around that projection, and a Success Probability Score℠: the chance your minutes go up by more than 2 a game. The range is wide on purpose, because real outcomes vary. Treat projections as context for your decision, never as a guarantee.
Who is DepthChartIQ for?
High school and college athletes, and the parents helping them. College athletes use it to decide whether to stay or transfer, and where. High school athletes use it to research programs and keep their recruitment organized. Parents can sign up with their own email and choose “Parent or guardian.”
What sports does DepthChartIQ cover?
Projections currently cover Division I men’s and women’s basketball. Athletes in other sports can sign up and register interest; football and other sports don’t get projections yet.
What does it cost?
DepthChartIQ is free during Early Access, with no payment method required. December 31, 2026 is the last day of free access, and paid plans begin January 1, 2027. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan and add a payment method.
Is my information private?
Yes. We don’t sell your data, and you can access, correct, export or delete it at any time. Coaches, other athletes and anyone else using DepthChartIQ don’t see anything you do here: not the programs you look up, not your projections, not your tracker. Browse freely. The only people who see your profile are the ones you choose to share it with. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Is DepthChartIQ affiliated with the NCAA or any school?
No. DepthChartIQ is independent and not affiliated with the NCAA, any university or any athletic program.
What is Spotter?
Spotter is DepthChartIQ’s AI career advisor. It turns roster, coaching, playing-time and opportunity signals into clear briefings and questions you can act on, drawing on your profile and your projections.
Can I use Spotter today?
Yes. Spotter is live and open to anyone. Create an account and ask it about your options right away: where you’d play, what changed at a program, or what to ask a coach.
When can I talk to Spotter?
Whenever you need it. There’s no call to schedule, no email to wait on and no consultant billing you by the hour. Ask at 6 a.m. before practice or at midnight after film, and Spotter answers on the spot. Spotter’s got you.
How does Spotter stay up to date?
Spotter works from DepthChartIQ’s program data and your projections, and it searches the live web for what just happened: a coaching change, a new transfer, a roster move. Every fact shows where it came from and when, so you can check it yourself. When your situation changes, Spotter adapts on the spot, and when the information is uncertain, it says so.
